Frequently Asked Questions

+ I’m brand new to Pilates, which class should I start with?

Our Reformer Flex classes are beginner friendly, with modifications provided throughout the class for beginners! Be sure to let your teacher know that you are new, and we will look after you!

Find out more about each of our classes here.

+ What should I wear?

Anything that you can comfortably move in, and sweat in! We don’t wear shoes in our Pilates classes and socks are optional. We recommend wearing Pilates Grip socks - which are sold in the studio.

+ How do I book my class?

Book through our website www.flexandflowpilates.com.au or download the FLEX AND FLOW PILATES STUDIO app on your device. Once you download this please make sure to select the correct studio location before booking.

We recommend booking in advance, where possible, as our classes can fill up quickly. Our timetable is open 2 weeks in advance for bookings.

+ How do I cancel a class that I have booked?

You can cancel your class on our website or on our app. On the website go to www.flexandflowpilates.com.au and click on the studio you booked at. On the next page click on "My Account" in the top right corner of the calendar. In the page that pops up click "Schedule". You will see a list of all of your classes. Click "Cancel" to cancel an individual class. Please be mindful of the late cancellation policy.

+ I'm pregnant. Can I attend classes?

You can attend regular classes up until 16 weeks after which you will need to move into our Pregnant Friendly (PF) Flex classes and/or Mums, Bubs & Bumps classes.

*All pregnant clients will need to provide a doctor’s clearance letter before taking part in classes.

+ Do I need to be a certain fitness level to attend classes?

All fitness levels are welcome, and encouraged to join our classes. We offer modifications and progressions in each of our classes. Our Reformer Fit (Jump) class however is a more advanced class and we recommend attending this class only once you have become familiar with the reformer bed. If you are injured please do not join Reformer Fit (Jump).

Males can join classes at our Caroline Springs. Our Westmeadows, Reservoir & Point Cook studios are female only for all group classes.

When a spot becomes available in the class you will automatically move off the waitlist and into the class. This can happen at ANY TIME. If you can't make it to a class anymore and you are still on the waitlist, please cancel. If you are still on the waitlist and get added into a class, but cancel inside the 8 hour cancellation window, our late cancellation fees still apply.
